1. Louie Tucker (SGS College)

SGS College opened their EABL campaign with an impressive win against Myerscough College who were unable to follow up their impressive win against the Manchester Magic last week. The star performers for SGS in the closely fought contest were Louie Tucker who scored 29 points on 10/21 from the field in 42 minutes. However, it wasn’t just the impressive night from the field that stole the headlines for the 6ft4 guard. As well as the 29 points, Tucker stacked up 22 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 block to complete a dominant performance on both sides of the ball in his team’s opener.

2. Matthew Goodwin (Manchester Magic)

Manchester Magic bounced back with a vengeance in their 33-point win against Sheffield College after a humiliating defeat last time out to Myerscough. The best player to come out of the Magics 104-point outburst was 6ft2 class of 2024 guard, Matthew Goodwin. Goodwin finished the game with a monster 37 points to see his team to victory.

3. Tyler Fairbairn (Itchen College)

Itchen College took a 21-point victory over John Madejski Academy to move to 2-0 in the EABL South Conference. The player at number three on the list is a man who has been consistent in his performances from last week’s victory over City of London Academy, Tyler Fairbairn. The 6ft7 forward scored 16 last week and followed up last time out with a massive 36 points to steer his team to a dominant performance. With a string of impressive performances in the last two EABL matchdays, the forward is someone to look out for as the season unravels.

4. Jaden Edwards (SGS College)

To follow up from Louie Tucker’s tremendous display in SGS Colleges’ victory against Myerscough last week, at number 4 on the list of this week’s top performers was Jaden Edwards. The 6ft1 guard scored an efficient 24 points on 46% from the field in 41 minutes. Edwards was also reliable from the free throw line scoring 10/11 of his attempts which in the end was crucial in helping his team to a narrow 85-77 victory. He also contributed well on the rebounding front finishing with 7 rebounds in an all-round stellar performance from him and the team.

5. Daniel Hadley (Charnwood Riders)

The reigning champions started their season in impressive fashion with a dominant 75-61 victory over the Newcastle Eagles Academy. The fifth pick for top performers of the week was the standout in the Charnwood victory, Daniel Hadley. Hadley was the star man for the Riders scoring 25 points in the game and continuing his impressive form from the Kitking trophy where yet again he was the standout performer in a dismal trophy run at the start of the season.
