The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame takes High School Basketball across the Atlantic with the Hoophall International, taking place at the Copper Box Arena, London.

On Friday the 2nd of December, Mater Dei High School will take on Pace Academy at 5:00pm GMT followed by Christ the King High School vs St. Paul VI Catholic High School at 7:00pm GMT.

Also, Barking Abbey will take on Itchen College in an EABL regular season game prior to the high school games, tipping off at 3:00pm GMT. Both sides are undefeated in the EABL and will not want to be taking their first loss a such a prestigious event, so we will be in for a fierce battle.

The winner of each game will compete in a championship match to decide the winners of the event, taking place at 4:00pm GMT on Saturday the 3rd of December. A consolation match will take place prior to the championship match, at 2:00pm GMT

London’s basketball fans will have the chance to enjoy some of the talent that is being produced at high school level in the US.

The competition also gives the young stars an opportunity to showcase their skills on an international stage.

Mater Dei have won their last two games, the first of which ended 106-44 to the California based team. 6’8 forward Zack Davidson starred in both games scoring 22 in each of the Monarchs’ wins.

Like their opponents, Pace Academy are unbeaten with a spotless record of 4-0. Making for an exciting matchup when they face Mater Dei.

Christ the King and St. Paul VI are both kickstarting their season this weekend and will both be looking to start strong with a win in front of the London crowd at the Copper Box Arena.

The games will be live streamed on the Hoopsfix YouTube channel and can be accessed via the links below.
