U18 Premier League South: Top Performers from match day 10

Matchday 10 of the U18 Premier League South delivered four entertaining games last weekend. Here are my top performers from the southern conference who stood out:

Will Lankshear – Tottenham Hotspur U18

Despite his team losing 4 – 3 against West Ham United away from home, Will Lankshear scored a hattrick. The 17-year-old’s hattrick gave Tottenham a 3 – 1 lead in the 52nd. Although, Stuart Lewis’s side ended up losing the match it was a positive game for Will Lankshear. He has now scored four goals in four appearances for Tottenham Hotspur in the league.

Divin Mubama – West Ham United U18

Divin Mubama scored a brace in the last twenty minutes of the match to clinch the win for Kevin Keen’s side.

Mubama showed very good composure for his first goal. For the second goal he powered a header home from a corner kick to give his side the lead for the first time in the game. His header proved to be the winner for Kevin Keen’s side.

West Ham United’s win against their London rivals keeps their 100% record intact. The Young Irons are currently top of the league with 30 points on the board.

Zach Marsh – Crystal Palace U18

The 17-year-old hardworking Crystal Palace left winger scored twice and got an assist for Rob Quinn’s side. The Young Eagles demolished their rivals Brighton 5 – 0 to end their five-match winless streak. Marsh was pivotal in his side’s victory, as he played the full 90 minutes of the game.

Michael Golding – Chelsea U18

The 16-year-old central midfielder scored the equaliser and got an assist for Louis Fowler’s goal. As Chelsea came from a goal down to defeat Aston Villa 3 – 1. Michael Golding played the whole 90 minutes to help his side secure the victory. He has scored three goals in eight appearances for Chelsea in the league this season.
