Myerscough College and Barking Abbey will face off in the EABL championship game in a battle of the number one seeds.

The final bids to be an exciting affair at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester and will bring another EABL season to a close.

The teams involved were crowned co-champions in the 2019/20 season as the final was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Daywantia Campbell-Deeble’s 22 points led Myerscough to victory over the Manchester Magic Academy in the semi-final.

The Lancashire based outfit will be making their second finals appearance in as many years as they finished runners up to Charnwood College Riders in 2022.

Barking Abbey brought down the reigning champions Charnwood in the semi-final and will be hoping to get the better of their 2020 co-champions in the final.

Nedas Cholevinskas led the way for Barking with a game-high 24 points.

Barking had a near perfect record in the regular season, ending their campaign with a single loss and winning 11 games.

Myerscough also had an impressive regular season and topped the Northern conference with a record of 12-2.

The final will take on place on Wednesday 29th March at the home of the Manchester Giants, the National Basketball Performance Centre.

Tip-off is at 5:30pm (BST) and tickets are free but still need to be purchased for capacity reasons:
