Israel 3 – 2 Brazil

Israel, making their tournament debut, faced a formidable challenge against Brazil in their quest for a spot in the semi-finals. Marcos Leonardo opened the scoring for Brazil, but Anan Khalaili swiftly responded with a header for Israel. The match remained level after 90 minutes, and in extra time, Matheus Nascimento gave Brazil the lead again. However, Israel fought back once more as Hamza Shibli found the net to equalize. Just before the break, Dor Turgeman displayed remarkable skill to secure the lead for Israel. Despite missing two penalties, Israel held on to secure their place in the final four.

Colombia 1 – 3 Italy

In a highly anticipated South America versus Europe clash, Colombia and Italy clashed in San Juan. Cesare Casadei wasted no time and scored within eight minutes, solidifying his position as the tournament’s top scorer with six goals. Tommaso Baldanzi extended Italy’s lead with a close-range finish. Francesco Esposito added to Italy’s dominance in the second half with a clever flick. Although Colombia found a consolation goal through Jhojan Torres, Italy comfortably advanced to the next round.

South Korea 1 – 0 Nigeria

Nigeria, after defeating the tournament hosts in the round of 16, faced a determined South Korean side. Despite Nigeria’s dominance and several chances, South Korean goalkeeper Joong-Hong Kim denied them time and again. It was in extra time that Seok-Hyun Choi rose above the rest to head in a corner and give South Korea the lead. Despite Nigeria’s efforts, South Korea held on and secured a hard-fought victory.

USA 0 – 2 Uruguay

In a clash of North and South America, the USA took on Uruguay. Anderson Duarte opened the scoring for Uruguay after an impressive combination play with Juan Cruz de Los Santos. USA’s misfortune continued in the second half when Joshua Wynder’s clearance inadvertently found the back of his own net. Uruguay’s triumph brought an end to the USA’s impressive campaign and secured their place in the semi-finals.

The semi-final matches are scheduled for June 8th, with Uruguay facing Israel at 18:30 BST and Italy taking on South Korea at 22:00 BST.
