John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats continue to bolster their loaded squad for next season, adding 7ft2 Croatian sensation Zvonimir Ivisic.

At 7ft2, Ivisic can catch, dribble, and shoot like a wing, giving him a ton of versatility and an incredible amount of skill, he can translate into college and eventually the NBA.

The Croatian was first eligible for the NBA Draft in 2022 but has opted out of the last and next one to focus on his freshmen year at Kentucky.

Ivicic impressed at the 2023 FIBA U20 European Championships, averaging 11.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 0.6 assists in seven games.

His standout game at the tournament was against Poland in the group phase, scoring 17 points on 58% shooting and grabbing ten rebounds.

In his professional career, the Croatian was a rotational player for Studentski Centar Podgorica of the Adriatic League.

In November last year, the 19-year-old scored a career-high 28 points, and averaged 15.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in a recent playoff series defeat to Partizan Mozzart of the Euroleague.

Athletic bigs are a sought-after mould in the NBA at the moment, with number one pick Victor Wembanyama possessing a similar set of skills and build to the Croatian.

Under Hall of Fame coach John Calipari, the Croatian could be a diamond in the rough when he commits to the NBA Draft process in the future.
