EABL Top Performers: Game Week 11

There were some dominant displays in the return of the EABL this year, with some standout performers and blowout victories. Here is the week 11 EABL Players of the Week!

Isaac Round, JMA Rockets

JMA’s Isaac Round had a standout performance in the opening game week of 2024, putting up inspiring numbers in JMA’s 76-80 victory over Oakland.

The guard was unstoppable in his team’s pursuit of victory, scoring 35 points, grabbing nine rebounds, and nine assists, topping the stat sheet this week.

On the defensive end, Round was also crucial in getting the win, grabbing five steals, and capping off a perfect all-round display.

Ethan Round, JMA Rockets

JMA’s Ethan Round was the perfect sidekick in the Rockets victory over Oakland, putting in a flawless display of shooting display from the beyond the arc.

Round scored 20 points in the contest and made five of five three point shots, making him unstoppable from long range.

Ethan Round also had two assists, rebounds, and steals.

Daniel Nwauzu, Myerscough

Daniel Nwauzu has been the best player in the EABL this season and was the star man in Myerscough’s blowout victory over SGS College last time out.

The Myerscough forward again dominated the game in points and rebounds, putting up 30 points and 17 rebounds in the 30-point blowout victory.

Nwauzu was dominant inside the paint and created a highlight poster over one of the Bristol defenders. He had a 52% field goal percentage and 80% from the free throw line.

Will Taylor, Itchen College

Itchen College put in the best performance of the week last time out, beating Ipswich Academy 90-42 in one of the biggest wins of the season.

Itchen’s Will Taylor was the key man in one of the biggest victories of the season, dominating on the offensive and defensive end of the ball.

Taylor finished the game with 20 points, 13 rebounds, and two assists, playing like a Swiss army knife by unlocking the Ipswich defense.

The Itchen star player also had five steals in his team’s win.
