The semi-finals of the U18 Premier League Cup kicked off on Saturday, March 2nd. In the first semi-final, Manchester United faced off against Crystal Palace, while Leicester City took on Manchester City in the other fixture. Both Manchester clubs emerged victorious from their respective semi-final ties, setting up an all-Manchester derby final showdown.

Manchester United 5 – 0 Crystal Palace

Manchester United put on a five-star performance to secure their spot in the final of the U18 Premier League Cup with a dominant 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace. Ethan Wheatley’s brace, along with goals from Finley McAllister, Harry Amass, and Gabriele Biancheri, propelled the Young Red Devils into their first-ever U18 Premier League Cup final. Manchester United will now face their fierce rivals Manchester City, aiming to clinch their maiden U18 PL Cup title.

Leicester City 1 – 3 Manchester City

Manchester City battled past a determined Leicester City side in extra time to advance to their third U18 Premier League Cup final. Tommy Neale opened the scoring for Leicester City in the 28th minute, capitalizing on the visitors’ mistake as they attempted to play out from the back. Jaden Heskey equalized for Manchester City in the 66th minute after a scramble in the box, leveling the tie. Ashton Muir and Matty Warhurst found the net in extra time to seal Manchester City’s berth in the U18 Premier League Cup final. Ben Wilkinson’s side will now lock horns with Manchester United in the final, aiming to secure their third title.
